I have worked in many areas of social work since my bachelor of sociology from Hunter College, City University of New York, more than 25 years ago. After my Master in Social work from ASU, 2009 - I have specialized in helping clients who have suffered trauma, sexual or physical abuse, domestic violence, and parent/child attachment disorder. My focus is on the specific trauma that has impacted the client's life while guiding the client in finding clarity, self healing, and a path towards self control.

I am a certified EMDR practitioner (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), a modality that is especially effective when working through trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief/loss, abuse, and addictions. In addition, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral Informed Technique, Trauma Informed Care, as tools to address other mental and behavioral health conditions.

I believe that each client has innate qualities, skills and strengths that are lost or forgotten in the trajectory of life. The aim of the therapist is to highlight and reconnect the client to these resources.

My passion is to work hand in hand with each client and discover his/her potential in life.
